Bloody Ridge Park Sees Strong Visitor Numbers in Inaugural Year of Tracking
Bloody Ridge Park recorded a total of 3,534 visitors in 2025, marking the first year of tracked visitor data, thanks to diligent round-the-clock security.
Foreign tourists comprised the largest group, with 1,874 visitors, representing 53.5% of the total.

Local Solomon Islanders made up a significant portion, with 602 visitors, accounting for 17%.
The park also welcomed 876 SINU students and researchers, or 25% of visitors, highlighting its role in education.
Official delegations and workers accounted for 159 visitors, or 4.5%.

The numbers are encouraging, especially the high local tourist turnout, which shows Bloody Ridge’s appeal beyond the annual August commemorations.
The significant student presence, particularly from forestry and environment programs, supports the park’s vision as an outdoor learning space.
