DMP Drops Fire New Album

SOLOMON Islands very owned Reggae boy band, Doorman’s Project or better known as DMP on October 7 released their most anticipated 5th Studio Album, ‘Long Way Home’.

The 12 studio tracks album features international Reggae artists the likes of Anthony B, Iyaz, Demarco, R. City, Konshens, Da’Ville and also features Solomon Islands very own, Khazin and Small Jam.

According to the band, in 2021,’they embarked on the project to release their 5th album which is released through independent reggae giants Ineffable Records, and will feature on the Cali Roots Riddim 2021 project produced by Collie Buddz and Johnny Cosmic.

In a statement, they thank everyone involved in making this album possible.

“We hope your all vibing out to the new album ‘Long Way Home’ out today.

“It’s been 7 years since we dropped our last album so we knew we had to put everything we had into making this new album special.

“We would like to thank Adam, J.Lately and the whole team at Ineffable Records for believing in us and helping us turn this project into reality, last but not least to our family, fans and friends for the tremendous support you have shown us though-out the years, This album is for you,” the band’s statement reads.

Prior to dropping the Album on October 7th the band organised an official ALBUM listening party on Thursday October 6th. The purpose was to promote and give an opportunity for fans and supporters in Honiara, Solomon Islands to be the first to hear the new album “Long Way Home” before it’s released to the world.

The Pacific Islands Award Winning Reggae Band, DMP includes -Blad P2A, Evin Rush, Mossa, Arak and Band Manager, Victor Lopez.

DMP has over the years released numerous smash hits singles known throughout the Pacific Islands and four breakthrough albums namely, Projectile, Square One, Wine Up, Life Is A Road (Vol. 1) and Tonight’ (EP).
