THE Miss Solomon Islands Pageant (MSIP) 2024 is drawing significant attention as the pre-pageant speech category took place today at the Pacific Casino Hotel in Honiara.

Six contestants showcased their eloquence and confidence, delivering speeches on topics related to this year’s theme of “Women Empowerment for Sustainable Development.”

The speeches, judged by Sharon Inone, Robert Luke Iroga, and Afu Billy, were designed to test the contestants’ ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and concisely.

MSIP Event Manager Lynette Adomea emphasized that this event gives contestants the chance to demonstrate not just their elegance, but also their intelligence and public speaking skills.

The competition, which has been preceded by weeks of public engagements and preparations, is now building momentum towards the grand finale – the crowning night at the Pacific Crown Hotel this weekend. The pageant promises to be a vibrant showcase of culture and beauty, drawing in both locals and tourists alike.

The Miss Solomon Islands Pageant 2024 is set to culminate with its highly anticipated crowning ceremony on Saturday, August 24, at 7 PM at the Pacific Crown Hotel.

After weeks of preparation, public engagements, and the pre-pageant speech competition, the six contestants will compete for the prestigious title.

The event is expected to draw a large crowd as the country celebrates beauty, culture, and women’s empowerment for sustainable development.
