SOLOMON ISLANDS ATTEND OMAN NATIONAL DAY AT DUBAI
THE 51st National Day of Oman saw the attendance by Solomon Islands Deputy Commissioner General and Pavilion Director Mr Dennis Marita at the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai on Sunday 21st November, 2021 together with UAE government officials and invited guests.
The celebrations were led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and the Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
A speech delivered on his behalf, by the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, stressed that Oman’s participation in this international event affirms the historical and civilizational relations between the two countries.
Also in attendance was the UAE Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan
Program formalities included speeches of the official delegates, cultural and musical performances.
“DCG Marita in congratulating Oman’s 51st National Day said that “The Solomon Islands joins our Omani brothers and sisters in celebrating this joyous occasion as we share their happiness and ask God to bless the Sultanate with continued success and prosperity,”
DCG Marita was accompanied by Business Representative Bryan Keniasina, Pavilion Staff Joji Luita and Media Officer Kelepi Abariga.
