“Because of this pandemic, we do not have any tourist from oversea coming to visit our museum, only students from schools in and around Honiara have visited, some mainly for the purpose of doing school research and assignments. So we are doing this approach to visit schools within Honiara.
“Currently we have visited Saint Nickolas High School, Mbokona Vera, Naha and Marara High School,” Mr. Mae said.
“Our main focus of this school awareness and visit is to present the importance of museum to our students.
Mr. Mae said their main target audience is students who are in form 4 form to from 6 Arts who will be doing their school research or Assignment in based on History lessons.
He in the meantime, stated that the feedback from the students was positive.
