Central Province Tourism Gains Momentum Through New Australia–Solomon Islands Partnerships
Central Province is set for a major tourism boost as the Solomon Islands Australia Partnership expands support to some of the province’s leading resorts, lodges, and tourism operators. New partnerships have been formalised with Nugu Beach Resort, Savo Sunset Lodge, Star Point Accommodation, Vanita Restaurant & Motel, Tulagi Tours & Travels, and Raiders Hotel & Dive — signalling stronger growth ahead for the province’s tourism sector.

Across these operators, upgrades are already being planned, including improved facilities, expanded accommodation capacity, and strengthened online marketing to showcase the natural beauty, culture, and marine attractions of Central Province. These improvements are expected to attract more international visitors and create new jobs for Solomon Islanders throughout the province.

Australia’s continued support highlights its role as Solomon Islands’ nambawan economic partner, backing local tourism operators and helping build a more vibrant, sustainable tourism industry for communities in Central Province.
